Grand Arcade Dental offers anti-wrinkle injection treatments to help prevent & reduce the formation of wrinkles.
During your consultation, we’ll discuss with you to understand your needs, whether it’s your wrinkles or alleviating pain associated with clenching your jaw.
Please note that we are not able to discuss the substances used for cosmetic injections, as prescription based medicine under the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989. The same injectable we use to treat consistent headaches and jaw pain from teeth clenching, grinding, facial tension or TMJ symptoms, can also be used for anti-wrinkle treatment.
What areas do you treat with anti-wrinkle injections?
To stay compliant within the scope of Dentistry and within the Dental Board of Australia’s acceptance of treatment modalities, we can offer anti-wrinkle injections for the following areas:
Hyperdynamic Lines to the upper third of the face, including:
- Glabella: Frown lines
- Frontalis: Forehead Lines
- Periocular: Lines around the outside corner of the eyes (“crow’s feet”)
Clenching and grinding:
This targets muscles of mastication to limit the action of the muscles responsible for chewing.
Gummy Smiles:
In post-orthodontic treatment for patients who have a higher smile line, or an asymmetrical smile line
