Want perfect teeth, but worried the reality of a smile makeover won’t match the hype? Digital Smile Design harnesses the power of technology so you can see and try in your new smile before you start treatment
Five steps to the smile you want
Every smile is unique, and the Digital Smile Design process is tailored to meet your precise individual requirements. But one thing is the same for everyone: the confidence of knowing exactly how you’ll look after treatment, before you even start.
Step 1:
Tell us what you want to see...and see it instantly!
Come in for a free smile makeover consultation with Dr Shekher. Tell us exactly what you love about your current look and want to keep, and what you’re keen to improve.
We’ll take some photos of you, and apply the changes you’ve told us you’d love to make on-screen. You’ll be able to see how you’d look after treatment right there at your first appointment.
We’ll print out your virtual before and after image so you can take it home, then decide in your own time whether you’d like to get that fresh new look.
You will also receive a complete treatment plan with all the details, timings and cost of your smile makeover. That means no surprises like hidden fees if you do decide to go ahead.

If you’re happy with the plan Dr Shekher has prepared for you, it’s time to get started.
At your next visit, Dr Shekher will check the health of your teeth and gums.
You can also tell us more about your desired result and we’ll take more photos and even video of you to assist with detailed planning.
Finally, we’ll take a mould of your teeth and scan it into the Digital Smile Design system to create a virtual model of your mouth where we start planning your new look.
Step 3:
Try in a mock-up of your new look
Your digital impression allows us to create a 3D model of your new smile that you can physically try in at your next visit!
See exactly how your results will look, and feel for yourself what it will be like to talk and laugh with your beautiful new teeth.
To make absolutely sure you get the outcome you want, we’ll take more videos and photos of you smiling, talking and at rest as you try in the mock-up.
This gives us the chance to fine-tune your treatment and make adjustments that will further improve the end result.
Once you’re happy, we can start preparing your final veneers, crowns or both - depending on what will work best for you.
Step 4:
Preparing your teeth for perfection
Now it’s time to prepare your teeth so your veneers or crowns can be securely fixed to them.
Minimal tooth structure is removed and we take impressions to create a model of your smile.
It takes our technicians around two weeks to carefully craft your veneers or crowns for a beautiful, natural look.
But you don’t have to wait to enjoy your lovely new smile.
At this appointment, you’ll be fitted with temporary composite veneers that look like the mock-up smile you tried on in Step 3 and are secured firmly in place.
Step 5:
It’s time to shine
It’s time to remove your temporary veneers and fit your dazzling new smile. And of course we will help you celebrate your transformation by taking plenty of photos and video so you can see the difference.
What is Digital Smile Design?
Digital Smile Design is a state-of-the-art system that allows you and your dentist to work together and create your dream smile. It means you get to see your results before you even decide to go ahead with treatment. And not only that; you get to try in a model of your new teeth and test how they feel.
This innovative system lets you and your dentist choose exactly the tooth shape and shade that will look best on you. And it lets your dentist communicate your choices in fine detail to the expert ceramist who will craft your future smile.

Feel confident that you’re going to get exactly the smile you wanted
What’s included in a smile makeover?
A smile makeover is a treatment or combination of treatments designed to get you the result you want for your teeth.
Each smile is unique, so your makeover will depend on what you’re personally looking to achieve. The best way to find out the optimal treatment plan for you is by having a consultation. This is an opportunity to tell us exactly how you would like to look, and to hear about all the options that are relevant to you.
Smile makeovers can include one or more of these tried and proved cosmetic dental solutions:
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are the most natural-looking way to create a new, perfect smile. They are very thin, very strong handmade shells placed over the front of individual teeth to create a desired shape, colour and size.
A cosmetic dentistry treatment, tooth whitening is essentially tooth bleaching—whitening products, like teeth whitening gel, are used to help teeth look shades whiter using hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide.
A dental crown is a perfectly-moulded cover for an entire tooth, made of premium materials that last many years with proper care. They are a great way to protect cracked teeth, or teeth that have had root canal treatment.
Invisalign clear removable plastic trays (aligners) are a thin, almost invisible alternative to traditional fixed dental braces. It is a great choice for adults looking to straighten their teeth discreetly—with the freedom to remove the aligners for events, meetings, photos, or eating and drinking.
